The Administration of Planning and Development of Women published this documentary book as part of the activity that the Palestinian establishments had during the 50th anniversary of the Nakbah in 1948.
Along the same lines of the international directives to empower women to change their negative model through highlighting the positive images of women by all means; there came the documentation of the oral history of women as one of those means. Oral history helps to place women within a methodology of moving their role from the spoken to the written and documented.
